TUF 19 Finale Medical Suspensions: Gordon/Berish Out 180 Days

After the UFC’s second event over the Fourth of July weekend, one punctuated by brutal finishes in the twilight of the event, the medical suspensions have come.

Topping the list is preliminary fighter Keith Berish, who suffered a leg injury just before being choked out against Robert Drysdale, and TUF 19 middleweight champion Eddie Gordon, who took out Dhiego Lima to be crowned this season’s winner.

Out of the two men involved in the main event of the TUF 19 finale, only one has received a suspension. That man is B.J. Penn who was routed in his third match with Frankie Edgar. Edgar dominated the fight in its entirety and forced a TKO in the third round.

The bout was Penn’s last as he retired following the loss.
