Mike Pyle looked strong, but unfortunately the news coming out of this fight is not his performance. But rather the bad stoppage by Herb Dean.

Pyle (26-9-1) took advantage with a guillotine that turned into a serious group and pound effort that lead him to victory. TJ Waldburger was out and clearly was with an elbow that followed by a rain of punches by Pyle.

Dean had a bad stoppage in the main event of UFC 169 earlier this month and once again he does here. We all have bad days and bro i feel your pain.

Pyle who is coming off a lose to Mike Brown in August where he was knocked out has got right back on the horse and got the most important W.

Before the lose he was on a four fight winning streak over fighters: Rick Story, James Head, Josh Neer, Ricardo Funch and all came by knockout. It should be noted that this was his last fight on his current deal and looking to renew it. He should have no problem with this win helping his chances.

On the other hand a fighter lost and Waldburger is now 16–9 with a two fight losing streak and aside from this fight. He lost to Adlan Amagov via KO at UFC 166
