Ben Askren Talks About One FC & How It’s A “Global Power”

- In an interview with USA Today Sports, former Bellator MMA champion and welterweight Ben Askren said that One FC is establishing itself as a “global power”. He said it gives him an audience in Asia and may try to grow later.

He said: “I’m hoping I can help ONE FC grow into a global power. They’re going to provide me a huge platform to show my skills.”

Askren will make his ONE FC debut in May against an unnamed opponent.

- The card for the World Series of Fighting 9 has grown by six bouts as the promotion confirmed new fights today. World Series of Fighting 9 takes place March 29 Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with the following card:

- The Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA (CABMMA) released the following medical suspensions from the UFC Fight Night 36 event. All 24 fighters on the card received a minimum suspension of 14 days with seven days no contact. That’s what happens when you have a majority of decisions.
