Dana White: “Brock Lesnar is Not Coming Back” + Overeem Calls Brock Out

– Even thought out of the twelve fights on the card there was only two finishes. I think everyone can agree that Jamie Varner and Abel Trujillo earned their money at UFC 169. Both fighters earned $75,000 for their Fight of the Night bonus, but Trujillo earned an extra $50,000 for his Knockout of the Night

Dana White was not happy with Alistair Overeem performance against Frank Mir at UFC 169. He wrote the following:

He comes out with a crappy performance, and then he calls out a guy who doesn’t even fight anymore. Not a great night for Alistair.

What Alistair said was stupid, he just beat a guy who is on the downside of his career and just because you beat one guy down, does not mean you can call out a guy who has not fought in two years. Pathetic!

Speaking of Dana White, he had this to say about Brock Lesnar coming back to the UFC:

“No, Brock Lesnar is not coming back. Brock Lesnar is not fighting. Does he want to come back? We’ve talked about him wanting to come back,” said White.

“He feels like he wasn’t 100-percent while he was here. He feels like he sold himself a little short, and all the stuff that I’ve told you before. But no, he’s not. We have no deal with Brock Lesnar. He’s not coming back anytime soon.”

No surprise here, I never thought Brock would come back due to his contract with WWE that is through 2015. After that, let’s see what happens.
