World Series of Fighting Announces Two Title Fights For Their Next Event

World Series of Fighting have a sick card for their ninth event for next event that will be headlined by two title fights.

Let’s break it down, WSOF announced that welterweight champion Steve Carl will put his title on the line against former UFC fighter Rousimar Palhares. Yes that Palhares who was released from the UFC when he held a submission too long gets a title shot after he got his walking papers.

In the co-main event, Marlon Moraes battles Josh Rettinghouse for the vacant bantamweight championship.

Steve Carl (21-3) returns to the cage after him winning the welterweight title with a submission win over Josh Burkman.

Palhares (15-5) makes his promotional debut at this event and as noted after he was released from the UFC.

Marlon Moraes (12-4-1), is 4-0 inside the WSOF cage with victories over fighters like Carson Beebe, Tyson Nam and Miguel Torres.

Josh Rettinghouse (10-2) will enter the cage riding a three-fight win streak and started off by a decision over veteran Alexis Vila in his WSOF debut.

The event takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 29.
