Artur Rofi (6-0) earned the Cage Fury Fighting Championships featherweight title back in February of this year when he defeated Lester Caslow via submission in round 2. The Team Bittencourt fighter has gone undefeated in his career and has finished his last five fights by submission, his pro debut win was by KO. Rofi has earned a name for himself on the local level, but is about to take a huge step in his career. It was recently announced that Rofi has signed with World Series of Fighting and will make his WSOF debut on September 14th at WSOF5: Alrovski vs. Kyle at Revel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Rofi will meet Roufusport MMA Academy’s Rick “The Gladiator” Glennn (13-2-1), who has gone 11 fights without a loss. Glenn made his WSOF debut at WSOF 2: Arlovski vs. Johnson, where he defeated Alexandre Pimentel via KO in round 3. Glenn has been dominating as of late, whereas Rofi has dominated his entire career, but someone will get a lost on their record. Glenn will be a big step-up in competition for the former CFFC featherweight champ, but in order to be the best you have to be the best. WSOF will be a great fit for Rofi and also a good test.
