Bellator 100 just added it’s headliner for the September 20th event which takes place in Phoenix, Arizona. The Bellator season 8 welterweight tournament final will headline the event, Ben Saunders will look to get revenge by defeating Douglas Lima. Lima defeated Saunders by TKO at Bellator 57. These two highly skilled welterweights were supposed to fight back at Bellator 93, but injury struck Lima and he was forced to back out of the fight. They will not be the only welterweight on this card. The season 9 welterweight tournament will begin with its opening round the same night. Justin Baesman (14-3) will make his Bellator debut against long time Bellator fighter  Brent Weedman (21-8-1). Although Baesman has not fought in Bellator, he has earned big wins, including a win over former UFC welterweight Daniel Roberts back in June. Speaking of the UFC, Matt Riddle (7-3) will also be on this card. Riddle makes his Bellator debut after fighting his entire career under the UFC banner. Riddle will meet Luis Melo (29-11). Melo is (1-0) inside Bellator as he submitted Trey Houston at Bellator 94. War Machine (13-4) also won his Bellator debut recently and will now look to make his way to a title run by beating Vaughn Anderson (16-1-1).  Finishing up the line-up will be Mark Scanlon (9-2) vs. Herman Terrado (11-2).  Scanlon is a former UFC welterweight and has fought some very tough competition. Terrado has won his last seven fights.
