T.J. Dillashaw vs. Raphael Assuncao booked for UFC on FOX Sports 1 3

Ever since T.J. Dillashaw (8-1) dropped a TKO lost to John Dodson at the “The Ultimate Fighter” season 14 finale, he has been on a roll. Dillashaw has won four straight since then, including wins over Walel Watson, Vaughan Lee, Issei tamura, and Hugo Viana. The Team Alpha Male fighter first was seen on TUF 14 where he made it all the way to the finals. Dillashaw has been getting better and better each fight and now that Duane Ludwig is the head striking coach at Alpha Male, Dillashaw has been clipping opponents left and right.

Next for Dillashaw is another explosive bantamweight who has been on an impressive win streak of his own ever since he moved down from the featherweight division. Raphael Assuncao (20-4) has won four straight victories. He has fought many of the same opponents in which Dillashaw built his win streak off. Assuncao has defeated Johnny Eduardo, Issei Tamaura, Mike Easton, and Vaughan Lee in his four bantamweight bouts. The 30 year old Brazilian will look to snap the win streak of the very young and talent Dillashaw come Septmeber 4th where Dillashaw will challenge Assuncao in his home of Brazil at the very stacked event, UFC on FOX Sports 1 3.
