“The Ultimate Fighter” is a great way for professional fighters to earn that ticket into the octagon. Some smaller organizations are also a solid way to make it to the big show for fighting. There are ways for professional fighters to get noticed, but the same does not go for amateurs. Of course amateur fighters must find success in the pro ranks to make it to the UFC, but why not give them a head start. The UFC fan expo takes place this week in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the expo an amateur MMA combine will be held, giving amateur fighters an opportunity to get noticed and put there name out there. Beside getting a name out to scouts, it is a great experience for amateur fighters to feel the pressure of a bigger stage.
