Marlon Moraes (10-4-1) has put himself on the map with back-to-back victories inside the World Series of Fighting cage. Moraes earned an impressive decision over former WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres and a KO win over Tyson Nam at WSOF 3: Arlovski vs. Johnson. Next, Moraes will meet Brandon Hempleman (9-1). Although Hempleman is a very skilled fighter, he is not all that well known to the public. Hempelman earned his biggest victory yet in his last outing as he defeated Paul McVeigh by decision at Cage Warriors 50. These two talented bantamweights will meet on August 10th at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. A middleweight match-up has also been added, a bout between former UFC fighters, Gerald Harris (21-5) and Jorge Santiago (25-11). Harris is coming off a unanimous decision lost to Josh Burkman at WSOF 1: Arlovski vs. Cole, where as Santiago was cut from the UFC after a lost to Gunnar Nelson back in February. Former XFC lightweight champion, Nick Newell (9-0) will also be added to the card as he faces “TUF 13″ cast member Keon “The Black Assassin” Caldwell (9-1). Caldwell has not fought he toughest of competition, but is currently riding a two fight win streak.
