Today has been a terrible and infamous day in American history. I don’t really think Doc Octagon is the place where anyone comes for anything other than MMA opinions. However, times like these it’s hard to think, or for that matter really care, about mixed martial arts. It goes without saying that all of my thoughts and prayers are with the families affected in Newtown, Connecticut.
I hope all of you reading are far away from what happened in Connecticut and are safe. I plan on hugging all of my loved ones tonight, and I hope you all do the same.
Tonight is UFC on FX and tomorrow is The Ultimate Fighter Finale. There are a couple of very interesting fights tonight, including Hector Lombard facing Rousimar Palhares and G-Sotz taking on Ross Pearson. Perhaps some MMA this weekend can help get our minds off of the insanity of the world we currently live in, but it just doesn’t seem like it matters as much as I thought it did earlier this morning. God bless and have a great night.
