Since taking over this blog, I have tried my best to provide you with the most straightforward opinions on the most important topics in all of mixed martial arts. Generally, I think I have done a good job in doing that. However, as must any man in my position of power, I must admit to you all when I severely drop the ball. And that I have done. I regret to inform you all that I have failed you.
I did not know and, correspondingly, did not alert you, about the new Australian octagon girls.
Today I was scanning the internets for some information about this weekend’s UFC on FX, which is also the finale for the Australia vs. England version of The Ultimate Fighter. That’s when I harmlessly came across the Twitter of a female called Kristie Jane McKeon, and noticed her tweets about being an octagon girl this weekend. Specifically, I noticed that she tweeted about her and someone named Kahili Blundell headed to Australia for the event. Accompanying such tweet was the following pic:
So yes, these are the two new octagon girls, who I completely failed to discover until now. And they are gorgeous and very talented (I’m assuming) and have been employed by the UFC for some time. This is proven by this gallery I found on Fightlinker upon trying to do some more “research” on the subject. I am shocked and disappointed that I did not come across these two females sooner, and I definitely let you down in this respect. I will not make the same mistake again, and already have my ear to the ground when it comes to the new TUF India series that Lorenzo is always talking about.
In related news, welcome to the UFC Kristie Jean and Kahili! Can’t wait to see you carry signs around the cage this weekend! Call me?
