The UFC Doc is In!

After graduating from octagon med-school and finishing up my residency, I am happy to announce that I have earned the title “Doc Octagon” and am taking over as editor of this site.

I am also happy to announce that, hopefully, the preceding sentence will be the first and last statement you read on this blog that reaches that level of cheesiness.

My plans for the blog generally include commentary on whatever comes to my mind with respect to the UFC, Bellator, World Series of Fighting, local bar room brawls, and any other fly-by-night MMA promotion that may start promoting shows. This will not be a general MMA news site, as you can go just about anywhere to find vanilla weigh-in results for Bellator preliminary fights between guys you haven’t heard of.

Additionally, I will be looking for all of your input in this process and a few people who would like to contribute their own thoughts to the site. If you are interested, see the tab above and contact me.

All in all, I hope this is fun for everyone, especially me. No matter what, you can all rest assured that the “Doc” is in!

(Make that no cheesiness starting…now.)
