UFC TUF 13 Finale Predictions

Adam Best (2-3)

Ramsey Nijem vs Tony Ferguson

The two best fighters on the show with two different styles. Look for the more battle-tested Ferguson to eventually catch Nijem and stop the fight via TKO. Should be one of two worthwhile fights on the card.

Clay Guida vs Anthony Pettis

The Carpenter is a fighting name, given Guida’s workmanlike style. Since both fighters are serious about their craft, talent trumps motor here. Guida has a helluva chin, so a stoppage will be hard to pull of in three rounds. Pettis by decision. Gonna be a helluva fight. The main reason why you should show up or at least DVR (not a bad idea) this card tonight.

Ed Herman vs Tim Credeur

The battle of two clowns who shouldn’t even be in the UFC. Flip a coin. And it’s… Credeur.

Kyle Kingsbury vs Fabio Maldonado

Maldonado’s boxing gives him a huge advantage here. He’s gonna KO Kingsbury. I’m probably also picking him because Candy Maldonado had the best baseball name ever.

Chuck O’Neil vs Chris Cope

Both of these guys sound like cheesy D-list celebrities. As for my prediction, O’Neil puts Cope away.

Zach Best (4-1)

Ramsey Nijem vs Tony Ferguson

Both of these fighters were the most dominant on the show and is only fitting that they’re in the final. I feel that Tony has a little better stand-up game, but Ramsey is much more skilled on the ground. I look for Ramsey to grind this one out and win the Ultimate Fighter.

Clay Guida vs Anthony Pettis

Guida is an animal and the gatekeeper for 155, but could that change tonight? If he wins he will most likely be the number one contender and get his shot at winning the title. The only problem with this scenario is that he has to get through Anthony Pettis. Pettis is one of the top talents coming over from WEC, just watch this to believe me. I love Guida’s heart, but I think Pettis will be too athletic and skilled for Guida.

Ed Herman vs Tim Credeur

Both fighters haven’t fought since 2009, which could make this a very boring fight. Both fighters styles I think could lead to that as well. Herman has more of a punchers chance, but Credeur could win this one on the ground. I look for Herman to win by decision.

Kyle Kingsbury vs Fabio Maldonado

Maldonado has an eleven fight win streak and is coming off a big win against James McSweeney. Kingsbury is coming off a three fight win streak in the UFC. Maldonado will win this one by decision.

Chuck O’Neil vs Chris Cope

I am still shocked that Chris Cope made it to the semi-finals without actually dominating a fight. He will just outlast the other guy while scoring enough points to get the decision. I think O’Neil is the type of fighter that is going to press Cope and get a KO.
